We have had a busy start to 2023, Kingfisher class have been exploring the story of Edward Tulane, an exciting tale of a toy rabbit and his adventures. We have developed our spelling and reading continuing with our shared class reads and spelling challenges. In maths, we have been mastering the calculations involved with multiplication and division as well as looking at area and perimeter of both regular and irregular shapes. As scientists, we are discovering the physic behind light and sound. We have linked our Art and Design focusing on reflections, shadows and circuits and switches. Our Geography topic has encouraged us to think about the world, from our village out to the wider countries within Europe. We are looking forward to working alongside our partner school Stogursey completing at in depth look at their twined town of Lonlay L'Abbaye in Normandy, which will also support our learning of French. In PE we have been expressing ourselves through movements to music.
