Ethos Ambassadors and House Captains

Ethos Ambassadors

Two children from each year group are elected to be on the School Council by their peers – teaching children from an early age about democracy.

A meeting is held once a month between the Ethos Ambassadors and Head of School. This is an opportunity for the children to share their ideas about what they like about our school and what they would like to improve.

Our Ethos Ambassadors for this year are:

Year 2: Charlee and Ryan
Year 3: Ciara and Finlay
Year 4: Harriet and Paul
Year 5: Raife and Lauren
Year 6: Nat and Ettie

House Captains

At Spaxton, we have 3 houses which are named after the local reservoirs.

The house captains are responsible for encouraging their house to do the best they can. The are also in charge of helping organise house competitions, including Sports Day.

At the end of each term, the house with the most house points gets a special treat from the Head of School.
