 Welcome to Guppy Class,full of our Year 2 and 3 pupil's who have all settled in well. Our class is taught by Mrs Skews with the help Miss Marsh (LSA) and Miss Sellick (Apprentice TA)
Trip the light Fantastic
 
Our topic this term in Guppy class is Trip the light fantastic,with a particular focus on light. So far we have been reading Firework Makers daughter and having an in depth look at the characters in the story. We have also been doing some science work on the topic of light and understanding we need it to see. We have been doing art based on the reflections inspired by Hockney,Monet and Hokusai.
The Spring term has begun with a Fizz Pop and Bang in Guppy Class! We are very excited about our opportunities to explore our local area, through Science, English and History. The children have begun to investigate local folk tales in particular the story of the Gurt Wurm of Shervage Wood!
