On Friday 25th September, Tom Ridout from You-Do Forest School lead a whole school Forest School day at Spaxton C of E Primary School. The children worked in groups and completed a carousel of nine different activities, including making wands, wooden snails and clay hedgehogs. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable day with a boy in year 1 saying it was the best day ever! It was great to see the children developing great teamwork skills and showing resilience when they found some of the activities challenging. Forest School is now going to become a regular feature at Spaxton, using our wonderful outside space to its full potential.
